As the church in the 21st century, we’re asked to show and share the love of Jesus in an increasingly fast-paced and godless society--more and more hostile toward the way of Jesus. At times we fear the future, are anxious about our freedoms and become discouraged by a world that seems to be falling apart faster than ever. The early church was facing a lot of the same challenges, and this led the apostle Peter to write a letter to encourage the church and remind them of how to live as sojourners in a world they no longer belong to. Join us as we walk through the letter of 1 Peter and find that his words are just as relevant today as they were almost 2000 years ago.
