Unhealthy Relationships and Trafficking

Turning Awareness into Action

Have you ever found yourself in a relationship that just didn’t feel right? Or perhaps you watched someone you love in a situation you knew was unhealthy.

Join House of Hope on Fri. May 3 from 6:30-8:30 PM (doors open at 6 PM), with special guest ACT United, for a critical evening of building awareness around healthy relationships. Together, we’ll learn to:
– Recognize the warning signs of unhealthy relationships
– Have constructive conversations
– Set healthy boundaries
– Understand the correlation between unhealthy relationships, trafficking, and sextortion.

Guests will hear a special presentation, followed by separate group breakouts for learning how to navigate real-life scenarios and turn knowledge into action.

House of Hope is a local ministry that supports women who have faced exploitation, guiding them toward new and healthier ways of living, with Jesus as their beacon of hope for a brighter future.

The mission of ACT United is “Uniting communities together in awareness, prayer, and prevention to end the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children and teens”.

This free event is for youth (grade 5 +) through adults. Light refreshments will be served; childcare is not provided.
