Care Ministries:

Care Team: This gifted and compassionate group of deacons and deaconesses is our front line of care. Commissioned by the church, each deacon or deaconess is assigned to a group of individuals living in a specified geographic region (Regional Care Group). When a care need arises, the Care Team member assigned to the individual will respond to the need, mobilize others in that Regional Care Group, seek the help of other Care Team members, or people in other Regional Care Groups. In addition, this team has the authority to disburse money from our Care Fund to financially help with expenses such as gas, groceries, temporary rent help and medical bills. Contact the Care Team at careteam@trinitychurchmn.com.

Love In Action Volunteers: Everyone at Trinity is encouraged to tangibly show the love of Jesus by serving one another. God has created us in His image and given us all different gifts that equip us to do good works He prepared for us to do. (Eph. 2:10) To help mobilize the church body when needs arise, we created the “Love in Action” card to indicate areas you could help (preparing meals, running errands, doing yard work, etc.) This allows our staff and the Care Team to know who they can contact when additional help is needed and it gives everyone involved the opportunity to experience the joy of serving God and others.

Faith Community Nurses: Promotes wise stewardship of physical health through education, and provides visits to those with physical, emotional or mental ailments/injury for encouragement and to assess medical support and needs for which the church can provide help.

Freedom in Christ: We believe that when we’re restored through Jesus that we are also called to help others in the restoration process. This ministry exists to lead people—through the power of the Holy Spirit—to break free from personal and spiritual conflicts to a renewed or brand new relationship with Jesus Christ. We do this by replacing the lies of our fallen world with the truths of God’s Word, empowering people to saturate their lives with Jesus and ground their faith in gospel truth. If you would like to set up your own personal Freedom In Christ appointment with trained facilitators, contact Valerie Beck.

Support Groups: Regularly offer support for people experiencing life needs, including education, support meetings and training. Check the Events page for dates or contact the office for more information.

Prayer Opportunities:

Prayer Up Front Team: Affectionately referred to as the PUF Team, these men and women play a substantial role in caring for people during worship services, in the moment the Holy Spirit is prompting. Each week members of this team stand at the front of the worship center after the service to pray with and for anyone. They listen, pray, and perhaps even initiate more prayer help from the others on the prayer team, the pastors, and the elders. When you approach one of these team members, you won’t find judgment or condemnation, but rather love, acceptance, and grace to help in time of need. If you are interested in being part of this team, please contact Tim Pace.

Sunday: Include your prayer requests on the Connect Card and place it in the offering box.

Anytime: Call the office with your prayer requests, 952.435.5548. Or submit a prayer request here.
