  • A Child Waits Foundation: Offers low-interest adoption loans and grants for families pursuing international adoption financing. They support families who have exhausted other financial options and would not be able to move forward with adoption without this assistance.

 

  • Lifesong for Orphans: Helps couples overcome the financial barrier to adoption by offering adoption grants, interest-free loans, and other funding solutions to support families throughout the adoption process.

 

  • Show Hope: Provides financial grants to adoptive families so waiting orphans can find loving homes.

People love to rally around a meaningful cause, and even more, they value being part of something bigger than themselves. Building your family through adoption is a truly incredible journey for others to support.

 

  • PureCharity: Partners with over 1,000 retailers — including Target, Babies “R” Us, Walmart, Diapers.com, Forever 21, Priceline, and Lowe’s — to help families fund their adoption. Through the PureCharity Rewards Network, friends and family can shop online at their favorite retailers, and a portion of each purchase is automatically added to the family’s PureCharity account. Those funds can then be donated directly to their adoption fundraiser, all at no extra cost to the shopper.

 

  • YouCaring: Helps cover adoption expenses by allowing individuals to create customizable fundraising pages to receive support from friends and family around the world. They have a dedicated adoption fundraising page to help families get started.

 

  • AdoptTogether: Helps families raise money to cover adoption costs by providing a nonprofit funding platform where tax-deductible, designated gifts from friends and family are matched or exceeded whenever possible. Families create a brief online profile, upload their adoption home study, and once approved, their profile is shared with supporters who can offer encouragement and gifts.

 

  • GoFundMe: Helps families raise money for their adoption journey through an easy-to-use crowdfunding platform. Here’s how it works:
  1. Create your site by sharing your adoption story.
  2. Share with friends and family, who are given simple tools to help spread the word.
  3. Collect online donations in real time as supporters give.
  4. Track site visits and donations as your campaign grows.

While it’s free to launch a GoFundMe campaign, processing fees (about 8%) are deducted from each donation.
