Who or what is the Church? Many of us might think there are more important issues to wrestle with in our current cultural context, yet the the word ‘church’ conjures up all kinds of images, ideas, emotions and thoughts. It is a word which is very often misunderstood. By examining the life of Jesus, the words of scripture, and our current cultural context we will revisit, rekindle and realign our hearts with Jesus' heart for His Church. During this series we want to answer questions like: How did the church start? What is the church? What holds the church together? Why does the church gather? Why does the church exist? What does it look like for the church to be scattered?
