Trinity Church – Lakeville, MN

Early Childhood

Trinity Kids Ministries is a place where people come to know, love and follow Jesus. As children encounter Jesus through His Word and His people they learn that every person matters to God and must matter to us. Within the Early Childhood ministry we teach kids (birth-Preschool) about God in a way that they understand. Kids have fun, feel safe and begin to learn how to build relationships with others.

  • Nursery (birth-2 years old)- Ministers to Trinity’s youngest children as they become followers of Jesus in a place where they feel safe and cared for.
  • Transitions (2-3 years old)- We provide a transition ministry for our 2 and 3 year olds that includes both classroom structure and play time. Kids experience hands on learning of Bible stories, music, large motor activities and snack in a safe and loving environment.
  • Preschool- Our preschool kids first participate in structured play as they are dropped off before heading into large group learning and worship. Following this time they are guided in activities, lesson review and questions with a group leader.

  • For kids age 3 (by Sept. 1) through grade 5.
  • Trinity Kids midweek “Soul Survivor” reaches kids through Biblical-based learning, small group time, worship, verse memorization, activities and family serving and outreach opportunities.
  • Kids discover God’s love and their identity in Christ while becoming disciples who make disciples through midweek opportunities that see them gathering at Trinity with friends and peers and being sent out on weeks of serving their communities in the everyday stuff of life.

Midweek FAQs
SOUL SURVIVOR meets on Wednesdays from 6:30-8 PM (see schedule above). SOUL SURVIVOR helps kids and their families participate in opportunities that will encourage them to live their lives ALL OUT for Christ through four main types of nights:

  • FAMILY ALLIANCE nights allow families and church members to participate in serving the community together through things such as classroom care packages, reverse Trick-or-Treating and Feed My Starving Children.
  • ALL OUT nights, the entire church to be encouraged and equipped with outreach challenges to reach their communities. Some may call these “nights off” since we will not meet at church but in reality, these are ALL OUT nights where the church can live for Jesus in reaching their communities in the everyday stuff of life.
  • SURVIVOR TEAM UP nights provide kids the opportunity to reach peers by inviting them to intentional, gospel focused nights.
  • SOUL SURVIVOR nights include many familiar aspects like Bible stories, small groups, worship, scripture memory and more.
